J..J. Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 i ride in mostly ride in loose to hard packed dirt, some mud and trails Me too... I've just recently fitted a set of 22inch 6ply Kenda Klaws, prior to that I had Razr's and prior to that Shredders. So far I'm really impressed with the Klaws, they hook up well, but sliding is still easily controlled. Haven't had a chance to test the Holeshots, they are difficult to get around these parts. Of the three tyres above, I'd choose the Kenda Klaws. Quote
big_block_banshee Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 if u want to stay wid a 20 inch tire go wid a 501( stock 400ex rear tires) they hook up awesome in loose or hard pack dirt. we run them on some of our drag bikes and they work awesome. Quote
SiCkBaNsHeE_990 Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 My kenda knarlys work great. I ride trail, mud, etc XC racing Quote
MILO Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 i ride about the same terrain, and i love my pure sports bandits. they suck in wet grass in the yard, but work awsome anywhere else. hardpack, mud, trails, coal, whatever. they've never let me down and lost traction while hill climbing either. randelator Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 go with the kenda klaw they are the best tire period!! just ask kory ellis!! Quote
coolhead03 Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 Before you get rid of those turf tamers you should consider grooving them.shave off evry other row of nobbs or checker them or V groove em somthin. I love my turf tamers on every thing but mud. I've never had a problem hooking up even in snow. But save yourself some money and try it you will probly like the results. Quote
FadedDreams Posted June 19, 2004 Report Posted June 19, 2004 i have a set of 18 inch Tamers and i thought they hooked up great.Haven't even tried them since i grooved them. But i would say that if you are going to get a new set,go with Klaws.Thats what i have now and won't change unless they come out with something better. superchicken Posted June 19, 2004 Author Report Posted June 19, 2004 ive thought about giving them a trim job,ive seen the tire groovers that they use on truck, car tires do you use the same tools? Quote
chipdog Posted June 23, 2004 Report Posted June 23, 2004 kenda either the klaw or the knarly more the knarly than anything else hook up real good Quote
blackred03 Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 the razar 2s are great alittle heavy but if your shee has any balls it will pull them and let me tell you they will grab and not let go, and boy do they love to throw shit Quote
randelator Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 go with the kenda klaw their the best on the market period!! Quote
