Hockey390
Hey, figured this MAY be the right section..who knows. I need you guys to help me set my priorities straight with my shee.. Here is a list of things I want/need/drool... **front tires/rims (tread is gone, still stock from 87, rim is bent to shit but still work) **Turbine Core II silencers (need spark arrestors and lower dB to ride ORV/dune) **Rear ITP c-series rims with sandstar tires for the dunes **Chain slider for swingarm joint (mine is broke in half..) **Powdercoat newer J-arms (got some newer J-arms cause my ball joints are going, but I want to paint them before I put them on) ****EDIT**** ** Front bumper as well (I have none at all right now) thats pretty much it.. I have limited amounts of $$ so I'm trying to do the most important stuff first.. my visions of tight rims and crap are getting in the way of me making logical decisions.. So please do help. (give me a TIP) Edited May 31, 2004 by Hockey390

(give me a TIP) 1.If you dont have sand tires get them first. On rims they will run you about $470 2.Turbinecore 2 they run about $260 3.Chain slider 4.Front tires 5.Powder Coat J-Arms

TheBansheeMan86
tip- a chain slider is fairly important, especially if your stock roller is gone, because your chain just wears right through your swingarm lol, not good. plus they are cheap enough to put on the top of your list. TTG-Shee14
I would go with what you *NEED*. You dont need sand tires but they are nice to have... Wait for those thought. Chain Slider like TheBansheeMan86 said. Turbine Core II silencers front tires/rims Powdercoat newer J-arms Then Dune Tires! Must Drag it when your done! hamuel
for sand riding : 1.remove the skidplate from the rear(if sand only)(free) 2.chain roller 3. get rear sandstar's or haullers(whats the fun if can can't get out of a banshee pit)(rear paddle tires are a 100% MUST in sand) 4.kinda front stearing tires(so yah don't snap your j-arms)(no fun if yah can't go anywear at all) 5.complete fatty exhaust (might as well go all the way and get some power) 6.Powdercoat newer J-arms(they'll last a while)
Hockey390
didnt notice people were still posting on this a little.. heres an update.. Ordered my chain slider, STILL HASNT COME! grrrrrr (back-ordered) Put FMF Q Series silencers on instead of the turbines.. it lowers my noise ALOT, and spark arrested so I will get by.. Got Holeshot fronts on beadlocks, they are kinda small but get the job done Added on my new Sandstars on ITP C-Series, oh wow I love these... Still prepping the J-arms for paint.. Just gonna get some spray paint I think cause PC in town is not cheap! And last but not least, front bumper... Still havent decided on one, I think i'm gonna get an all black stock from an LE. Hockey390
yet again, new post....didnt see it comin. i just check my posts and by the time this one gets a hit its on page 3 or 4 in my history As of now I'm right here... Just ordered FMF Fatty fronts to FIT my Q series silencers. Had oldschool FMF gold series, didnt fit well.. Got the chain slider, install will be tomarrow or the next day. Ordered head gasket... think mine is fried. Went to the dunes for the first time since I had my sandstars and Q series...all set, shee broke down.. So I'm fixin that. Switching back to stock radiator hoses.. These clear ones arent workin for me. Ordered 2 things of engine ice... YUM Ordered pipe hangers from Stan... YOU DA MAN! Put a rear light on.. looks fresh. J-arms....still waiting for paint. Will update this all in a few weeks...(when someone replies)
