SIRHCSHEE
when drag racing does anyone keep there thumb on the throttle while they shift through gears. like no letting of the gas as they pull the clutch to shift.if not what are good tips to keep the power down while racing head to head. Screamin_Banshee
Before I got my override, I just held the throttle and slapped the clutch when I needed to shift. If you time your foot and your hand with each other, u shouldnt hurt anything...maybe just wear ur clutches a little bit quicker.
SANDSTAR
When I shoot the hill (comp/olds) at Glamis, I must admit to not letting off of the throttle in between shifts. It seems to give me a little extra rpm comming out of the shift, thereby entering the next gear well into the powerband. I'm sure it isn't the best thing for my clutch, but I want a henson anyway....
