ranshee Posted May 26, 2004 Report Share Posted May 26, 2004 Dont know if I'm right or not but you might not be able to get the peformance you or they want according to what your other builder did to the jugs. He may have taken off to much of what another builder wants on there. If you understand what I'm talkin about. Some builders do different things with diff parts of the jugs so hopefully your builder did'nt go to drastic on one certain area of your jugs. FadedDreams Posted May 26, 2004 Report Share Posted May 26, 2004 If i'm not mistaken,Race Logic is the company that sells the porting templates,and is do-it-yourself.So really,he probably didn't take much off ,so i'm sure he can have it ported by someone else.I think i remember reading on here at one point that the Race Logic templates are really nothing more than a clean-up port. SDD Posted May 26, 2004 Report Share Posted May 26, 2004 Alba isn't the best choice for porting. They do a very mild port job and I'm not sure if they will work on already ported cylinders.
