yan Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 if no one knows what to do just say so, so i dont keep posting over and over again i have tr6 pipes and a pro design air filter the tr6 pipes came with these little 1" air holes thing to put into the air box and there is 12 of them to put in when every thing was installed in the air box and the pipes the local atv shop jetted the atv with that air intake and what not so my question is that if i put tape over the air hole things so i can go in water and mud just for a day or two do i have to rejette Quote

You might notice a small difference in power but probably not. just try it and see. like pimp said, it will just run richer, and best case scenario, it will run a little cooler and have a tad less power (maybe not even noticeable), and the worst case is, you foul a plug. I'd suggest covering the holes and go out for a ride before you go to see if your gonna be having any plug problems or sputtering. My bet is you'll be fine. Quote
