Screamin_Banshee
BUY NOSS!!! You cant go wrong man, not only does David give a discount to HQ members, his customer service is TOP NOTCH. Also u wont have to change ur studs, as the "new" style Noss heads use stockers. The domes are interchangable between the two brands u mentioned. SICK BOY
If you ever have a problem with the Noss head you can talk directly with Dave and he'll take care of it.If you have a problem with the Pro Design you can call them,be put on hold, talk to a guy that dosen't give 2 shits about you,be transfered to a even bigger asshole, and waste a whole day and still have the same problem. The choice is yours. Holyman
Dude you have the POS head now you need the NOSs head You can always get another stok head if the money is too tight for an aftermarket head.
Yaxy
I have no experience with Noss products in general but I have with Pro-design. For starters my shee has almost every part that prodesign assigns there name to and through my dealing with them the last 7 years they are very customer service oriented and are more than willing to go out of there way to help with any calls that I sent there way. They have quality parts and back up the parts they sell. As far as the heads you do have to replace your head studs which can be a pain, but I have no isseus with mine. But the 10% discount sounds nice Chris
dlnoss
dlnoss could i still use my stock head or is it in two bad of shape It's pretty bad. I wouldn't use it. Like Holyman said, you can get a used stock head pretty cheap if you don't want to spend the money an aftermarket head.
Bansheeman1121
How are the power gains from the noss head and does it give the same running temp advantage as a cool head?? Thanx for any help..
dlnoss
How are the power gains from the noss head and does it give the same running temp advantage as a cool head?? The power gains vary with dome size and other mods. In my experience, I have never had a customer tell me they were dissatisfied with the performance gains, or anything else, with the head. As a standalone mod, you can usually expect a 2-5 hp gain and better throttle response. The first heads I manufactured cooled about the same as the PD head. With the current design, flow characteristics were improved which provided better and very even cooling.
