I just bought some 30mm keihin pwk carbs, they are 28mm that was bored to 30mm. Is anyone running these and could tell me a good place to start with the jetting? It will be awhile before my quad is all back together, so I was looking for someone else that has ran these carbs and could tell me some settings, before I get to putting the carbs on.

My quad has the following,

LRD pipes

LRD mx porting

17cc domes

K&N filter with no air box lid

+4 degree key

I race at 800' above sea level

With stock carbs I ran a LRD needle 3rd clip, 350 main jet, 30 pilot jet.

Thanks for any help!

I'd start w/ 170 mains (maybe rich), needle 3rd clip, and 45 pilot...

fatty pipies

k&n clamps

28pwk's

head milled to .030

at sea level

40:1

and Im using a 170. and it's almost perfect. clip on 4. and a 52 pilot(got a play with pilot it sounds like it's drowing every now and again)

the carbs came from Carb Parts, but I've had them for years. I used to run a JJH needle with pc's now that i have built it up i switched to N68A needles and now those needles don't work with my porting.
