Hockey390
hey, just wanted to start a new topic cause that one has soooo much stuff on it. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...opic=28553&st=0 that was it... Just pulled the pipes off, and I got a suprise... APPRX. 1/2 gallon of came out of each pipe.. EACH PIPE here are pics.... I think that is my problem. Compression wise, maybe still low...who knows, but I'm airing them out, here are pics.. thats the floor....took one off and went to set it down...ALL OVER! this is the bucket from half of one... nother of the floor... Think this is why I have spark, gas, and no spark??? ***EDIT*** sorry, meant spark, gas, and no fire... I've never seen anything like this so feel free to explain slowly because I have an 87' as well and it maybe something I need to do as well. H300F
Hey, your bottom end should be filled with gas to so dont forget to get that out. Stuck needle valve in the carb/carbs???
J..J.
WTF? I'll definetely have to put that one in the li'l black book...
banshee04le
Yeah, one of the float valves in your carbs must have stuck open and you must also have a problem with one or both of your overflow tubes. Pinched, kinked or otherwise plugged up. Make sure you clear your overflow tubes so this doesn't happen to you again.
nater006
I'll third the notion about stuck needle valves and clogged overflows. My tecate4 used to have the fuel run right through the motor like that. The first time I didn't know and got it actually started, it sprayed everywhere out the silencer. That sounds like a potential. Banchetta
I'll 5th that oppinion. STuck float valves in the carbs....make sure you get the gas out of the lower end as well, you'll be able to top that bucket off....
Blacksmith
I would take the tank and tank plastic off of that bike and turn it upside down with the plugs out and turn it over a couple of hundred times. :-) This will get that crap out of your bottom end. Clean your carbs and check the float bowl levels and needle valves. Then put that thing back together and see if you can get it to start. Good Luck.
