Recommended Posts

well i got myself a parts banshee last week

it wasa good buy i guess as i didnt pay spit for it

but i cant believe how patched together soem stuff on it is

who has seen a "custom" shifter before

by custom i do mean there is an 11/16 craftsman in plac3e of the actual shifter

it was bent to an L and welded to what was left of the original

so i was just curious what other sorts of crazy hillbuilly fixes you guys had seen before

one time we had a piece of copper pipe (about 2ft) comin off my tail pipe just cuz it looked funny, then i hit a stump and bent the shifter and had no way to shift then we came up with an idea to use my new "tail pipe" as a lever and fixed the shifter and could never tell it was bent, sorta red neck just thought it was funny and before u start questioning things this was on the tt-r 225 bike (not banshee)

Hi guys:

Just for the record. I traded my 'Shee in last week and I am in Saint Louis (not far from Illinois) but the one he described is not mine... :-)

Well, not unless the person who bought it did that to it already and sold it again...:unsure:

Regards,

Bill

My buddy has lawn chair parts on his shee, the mounts for the rear fenders had been grinded off by the previous owner.

its not lawn chair parts, they are from a metal folding chair, and if anyone from this site looked at it they would never figure out where they are in a million years :D
