Theron Posted May 19, 2004 Report Share Posted May 19, 2004 I know that this really isnt the right website to post this but my lawn mower really has me pissed off. It is a ranch king 18.5hp and i just replaced the front drive belt because it would slip, so i went to a dealer and they sold me another one, well i put the new belt on, and now it wont go in or out of gear in less it is off, (almost put me in a creek, thats how i found out) and when you push in the clutch/brake pedal it will not stop , just slow down. So i just turned it off all the time to shift but now the damn thing wont start, wont crank or nothing, there is a silonoid that is between the starter and the battery and i dont know if it is bad or what is wrong, i can start it by putting a wrench to the two posts on the silanoid but i dont know if that will hurt it or not.
