SANDSTAR
You have 3 choices. 1-Tear your bike down and take the damaged case to a good welder and get it welded closed. 2-Get some jb weld, drain the oil, clean the hole with some carb cleaner and epoxy it up. 3-get a new case. Whatever you do, get a case saver...........

Holyman
When he says clean it up he means surgically clean. There can be no residue of any kind. Carb cleaner is a good choice because it is used to clean aluminum without residue.

Cotton eyed Joe
also the oil was kinda green like coolant was in the oil it that normal ? NO!!! The cooling system is independant of the transmission. Don't know what would cause that just off hand.
ssbanshee
head gasket?
Cotton eyed Joe
head gasket? Naw...head gasket would put it into your cylinders. The transmission is seperate from all that. Unless its leaking out of your water pump, and into the clutch side. It could do that if some of your bolts are loose that cover your impeller I think. I'd go for the TIG welding method. me too. i had one side of my cr500 welded up. works great and looks a lot better than trying to get jb weld to smooth out and set up.
