adeezy9183
i just put the new top end on (bored .60 over) THANKS KYLE. haven't fired her up yet because i need some plugs and some oil, and DEFINITELY larger jets for the carbs because if i let this happen again i'll whip my own ass . i'll let you guys know how everything works out. one more question, could this lean condition cause the motor to be hard starting and make it not idle whatsoever because when i first got it, it ran fine, started right up and when it started acting up, the idle screw had no affect on the idle and it was hard as hell starting. thanks a lot guys. hey kyle how is that t-maxx? dirtbike killer
Your main isn't doing much when your trying to kick it over. If its hard to start when its cold, but easy to start when its warmed up, your pilot is to small. If starts easy with no choke when its cold, but is hard to start when its warm, then the pilot is to big. Make sure you have no air leaks before you mess with the jets. cgamla
I have a similar set up and I can tell you that your main is not big enough. I am at sea level also. You should be running a 185 at least with your needle some where in the middle grooves. I ran mine with that jetting and it wore out really fast. Theres a good chance you need to go up on the pilot to.
