Hockey390 Posted May 15, 2004 Author Report Share Posted May 15, 2004 Now I have to get my hands on a fill so I can fill off the lip on the carb, for some odd reason they make it so it wont fit, then tell you to fill it down... ?? now that I think about it, they make a 33mm kit and a 35mm kit, i got the 35, so the 33 probably fits perfect, and the 35 needs filling...WHO KNOWS!! However it is harder to jet then the 33. He said if yo have a stock motor (no porting) go with 33, but since I am going to port mine this winter, he said 35 mm, in the end.. will give me more power. I really like the idea of always having perfectly sinc'd carbs, but how is the power?? you'll get quite a bit more power low through top end over stock carbs. when people say you don't get as much top end, that is true with larger dual carbs, say 33mm or something like that. a pair of 33's will produce a little more top end, but not near as much low end. compared to stockers, the single 35 produces a lot more low, a lot more mid, and better top end.
