Mowers

Recommended Posts

I didn't buy it. (yet) I may do so though.... I wil have to see if i can snag one for a day or two.... I was a fan of twin stick, untill I fired up the joystick..... Words cannot explain the functionality of it.

im sure if you are serious about buying one theyll let you take one home to try out. any reasonable dealership would i think. maybe i need to try out this joystick deal sometime, sounds pretty sweet.

You know how much 3/4" gravel $7500 would buy??? You'd never have to mow ever again once you lay down a nice layer of that. Well, that and Round Up.

can reach down for my beer in a straight line, but I need both to turn

Ahhhhh, one of the selling points of the mower for sure!!!!!! Although it gets much too rough to be drinkin and ridin at the same time....... But I find the joystick, after you gt used to it, to be fantastic. it's wicked touchy at first, but after you relax, it's is sweet...... One hand action!!!! :yank::unsure:

Big fan of the dual-lever deals.. my dad got a 0-turning radius Toro things -- one of the Timecutter series I think. We have a hella large yard out in the country so it was a good investment.

Now he got one of those Kubota sub-compact tractors. I think its a BX23. I remember its 23HP, has a 3-cylinder diesel, hydrostatic 4WD, etc. Its one helluva toy! Kubota's design flipped the engine 180 in it so the flywheel is in the front and the radiator/etc sits between the driver and the engine (draws air from the driver towards the front of the tractor) -- apparently it gave more space underneath, not having the flywheel there, so you can fit a wicked large mowing deck underneath.

Got numerous full-sized tractors too, and a couple large bush hog mowers for orchard grass and brush cutting... but that Toro with the levers is still a trip to drive ;)
