jaysea1 Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Pro-circuit pipes, any good? Dunes and open terrain riding. Quote
evil Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 ahhhhh mabey, but id go with a hi rev pipe instead for dunes and fast trails. just my prefrence though. Quote
Oilsmoke Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 Shearer or Cpi's inframes Both are great Dune pipes Than Tommey T5 would be my 3 top picks Quote
banshdog Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 i got em, rode with them in silver lake dunes, no complaints. i think they sound great too. Quote
ledofthezep Posted May 13, 2004 Report Posted May 13, 2004 (edited) Dunes and open terrain riding. That's pretty much all I do, getting ready to start some MX soon though. But yes, I like them a lot. I prefer them over my previous T5's myself...they just suit my style better. Better low end than the toomeys, but a bit less up top. You won't be disapointed in them, any pipe is a big advance over stock. Just don't go DG. they sound great too. Personally my favorite sounding pipes, I like the sound of DMC's though too. Here's a sound clip for those interested... http://www.kcisp.net/~bking/HQquads/procircuit.mp3 Edited May 13, 2004 by ledofthezep Quote
MILO Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 i agree with led on this one. anything will be better than stock. you won't be dissappointed at all with the pc's. i like mine a lot, but haven't run anything else either. i do like the sound a lot better than toomey's, dg, fmf, haven't heard dmc's. i run trails and a lot of open farming areas, and can't complain about my pc's. bbluebanshee Posted May 14, 2004 Report Posted May 14, 2004 i love the way my PC's sound and run! I only ride dunes and have no complaints. But this is the only set i have owned for this bike. I may try a set of cpi in the near future Quote
BansheeBrian Posted May 15, 2004 Report Posted May 15, 2004 They do a good job once they are in powerband.Since they are a high-rev pipe they work well with any mods that help with bottom end. Jetting is relatively easy with PC's too!Good choice if you want a pipe with snap. Quote
