LIsurfer_
Does anyone have a trick to removing the pieces of gasket that stay on the base after removing the jugs? Is scraping with a razor blade adviseable? Can I damage the surface if I use the blade? Thx
J..J.
I also use a blade, and yes you can damage the sealing surface if you're not careful. Be sure to cover the exposed area of the crankcase with a rag or paper towel to prevent any shavings from falling in.
