Hush Kit!

i am looking for pic of a hush kit on a shee the one with the spark arrestor on it and how do they work dose it rob hp !!

I dont have the spark arrester.

But the hush kit really does HUSH alot.

 

I noticed no powerloss whatsoever. infact it feels a bit stronger in the midrange but does top off a slight bit earlier.

i know toomey racing offers a hush kit u can get the spark arrestors for more money .. regular hush is 129.99 and the one with arrestors is 189.99

i have seen that pic but but how i was taking what there site says is your put a clamp on sparkey on to the tip of the hush kit is this true that is what i wanted to see if it looks f unny

Yeah I made those aluminum end caps out of 3/4" thick 6061 T6 plate. The tubes that go into the hush kit have a round flange that I drilled 3 holes in a radial pattern. I drilled and tapped holes in the end caps and screwed the tubes in there with stainless steel bolts. Did a few other minor things to get them to fit and bolted everything back together. I didn't want to buy the Turbine cores as they were 240 or so from the stealership. The hush kit only cost me 170 and the other materials were about 10 bucks.
