01bansheefox
I need some 38x15.5/16 or 39.5 Super Swamper Trxus or whatever you think will get better miles. I cant find anywhere online to order some. Also looking for a reasonable price. They need to fit a 16x 12'' width rim.

H300F
I dont know what tires you guys are taking about. I dont see them, only thing is Super Swamper Trxus MT radials which only go up to 35". As far as 38"s go for 16s, there is TSL 38x13, Thornbird 38x14.5, Bogger 38.5x11, 38x15.5 SSR, 38x15.5 PJ dirt grip, 38x15.5 Iroks. If I was to pick one of them it would be the SSR, PJ dirtgrip very close 2nd. I dont know if you can trust the Iroks yet, they are faily new, and all i have heard is they are soft for rocks. My next set of tires is going to be 36x14.5 TSL radials. My 35" MTRs already bit the dust, Im riding on basically slicks till I get the money for new ones. evil
check www.offroadsuperstores.com i think i seen them there. id pass on the irocks for the time being. they look good and mean for a few months but after that they wear fast.
boonman
I would go with a set of SSR radials. Superb mileage and excellent traction. Unless you run ALOT of sand, those TRX/us STS tires are garbage. They handle like crap on the road, and ain't worth a shit off road EXCEPT for sand. If I lived near the dunes, I would have a set in the garage..... Now, if you run off road quite a bit, and don't mind some noise, than get the Swamper TSL-SX tires. About as good a mileage as an SSR, but you save about $60 or so..... If you can, find a local place that can get you the tires. I am guessing you have already done that. BUT, a simple phone book search won't lead you into that. Most places don't advertise for swamper, although they can usually still get them....... patrolman808
I like my Trxus M/T's, they're 35x12.50x17's, but after they wear out, I'm problaby going with 38" SSR's. Too bad I have to buy 6 of them
01bansheefox
I need tires strickly for street use but dont want the street tread look. Something like an All Terrain? those get like 50,000 miles. This tahoe is more for looks than offroad as of now the 4x4 is disconected so not in a hury to get some boggers. I need 38x15.5/16 or even maybe a 38x14.5/15 "think a 15'' rim will fit" with the best mileage.

01bansheefox
Well ya i figured that but from what i have seen they dont make those in a 38 or
boonman
And what part of Swamper SSR, Swamper TSL radial or TSL SX was unclear? I have 2 sets of SX swampers right now, one pair has 45,000 on them, and the other pair has over 50K. How do you beat that? Awesome tread, traction, and mileage....
