I am not verry savy regarding the "test" cards but I do know that my direct tv service could use an "upgrade". I used to have the card that had "sports stuff" on it but last month I was sent a new card to replace it with ( all through direct tv) my system currently is completly legit - what are my options for this "card upgrade"?

im shocked this many people are talking about this on a public forum LOL

also shocked that this many people are hacking cards...check out DirecTV's booth at the CES show and you will see that they are not hurting from people hacking their signal LMAO

who said anything about hacking a signal?

I just like to read up on many different subjects and this one has always been intriguing

testers

testers testing!

heheheh

I test all sorts of shit.

I tested my wifes patience all day yesterday, and I'm about to start now.

I tested a dc motor at work.

Tested a theory that when a company that I used to do a great job for pissed on me 4 years ago it was a matter of time they would come back to me. Now my prices have changed, and so has their attitude.

i have digital cable....i have tons of channels for free in cluding the OnDemand channels where they let you choose a ton of movies and shows. I only pay like 40 bucks amonth and i bought the converter for like 250 last year....every time they zapp me i un plug it and then plug it back in, 2mins later i got my shit back, last time they did it i got even more channels then i did before. And they only zapped me three times so far. I love digital cable. I feel bad for you guys...always losing your channels and wasting your money.

as far as i'm concerned, any medium or signal sent out for broadcst is fair game to the person with the motivation to pursue an alternative method of receiving it. hey they wanna beam their signal across my property, then i wanna see what's doin'. especially channels 594 thru 598 HOT STUFF !!!! :whoa::yank::drool:

As much as I admire big companies for doing big things, and making big money...I agree with you right there.....If someone has the schooling, the technology and the skill to see whats going on....why the hell not? Not that I can, or would, its just a nice theory to talk about.

These are all thoughts, ideas, and theorys. We all know that breaking the law will end you up w/ bubba the butt buddy!

As for the signal landing on my property...... If someone parked a car on your front lawn... Wouldnt you investigate? How about swim in your pool? Stand on your roof? It's my property and I feel I have the rights to know whats going on. :)

Just too bad the gvt doesnt see it that way.
