Guest jim greer Posted May 2, 2004 Report Posted May 2, 2004 yes i have stageiv sst these pipes pull like a bastard there touchy on the jetting you will no when you got the jetting wreight. believe me they are close too t-5 my bike is ported i lost very little on low end but you hit around 3600 rpm hang on lite switch power band had this bike in vermont in 6 gear motor was still pulling on class 3 dirt roads front end was lite thes pipes are pricey you get what you pay for these pipes are awsome good luck your friend jim Quote

And I agree since I bought his "old" ones. I don't have any engine mods and like 'em. I LOVE the stainless and if they weren't stainless, Iwouldn't have gotten 'em but the SS pipes make worries about rust popping thru a thing of the past. That alone is worth the price. They are a very well made pipe and you won't be disappointed. Quote

I am runnin the same setup as you are and just trying to setup my carb as close as I can . I dont have a place nearby to do a WOT run with out one of my neighbors calling the cops.
