Wicked Products...thumbs Down!

I realize that Tim (Wicked Products) may be a sponsor here, but I'd like to share my experience with them.

I recently bought a set of YFZ 450 a-arms from WP. I got them without ball joints because I had an extra set in storage.

I was quoted $100 less for the arms without balljoints....Well when it came time to place the order I was only given $75 off. Well OK...I still want the arms but I was a little peeved that he did not honor his quote.

I recieved the arms and realized that my ball joints would not work.

I contacted wicked to buy the balljoints and I was told they would be $110!

Hmmm I only got $75 off without the ball joints, now all im looking to do is pay FULL Price...plus double shipping for my mistake and I'm getting twisted for more money AGAIN???

....besides the sheer economics of what happened, I felt that while Wicked exists to make a profit, that customer service was atrocious. I was told "if You dont like it, take your busness elsewhere"

Tim made no try to accomodate me at all, flip-floped on pricing, and at the end of the day was quite rude.

Performance ATVing is a very small community, and actions like this only help make that community weaker.

Whether or not anyone here chooses to do business with wicked Products is their perrogative, however I know that I wont be giving them any business in the future....and am considering selling the arms at a loss, just so i am not racing their products.

I hate hearing it, but those people must just have had their business handed to them or something.

I'm beating myself to death day after day to not stay on top but to even think about getting to the top, and the last thing I would do is tell one of my customers to "take their business else where" If I can't do something I'll let them know before I get one penny of their hard earned money.

This business is a competitive one, and your product is but one facet of it. Customer service is sometimes even MORE important than the product you are selling. lol I've said it over and over, people like to be treated like people, not like shit.
