sredish
You can use a die grinder or dremel and elongate the hole in the stock plate so that you can slide it to advance the timing some. It's very easy, I think like a quarter inch is about 3 degrees. Someone else will post a pic or link and give you a more accurate measurement I'm sure. nater006
Pretty sure it is clockwise. The + marks are above the 0 and the - marks are below, and they're on the righthand side. So if you rotate it clockwise, you get into the +1, +2 and so on, or rotate it counterclockwise for reversed. If ya squint or blow it up some... Ricky's pic shows it. Yeah, it's clockwise, and I believe 1mm is about 1 degree.

Crazyfletch
I just recently used this same pic. that BDbanshee posted to modify my stator plate. I matched mine as close as I could to the picture, and checked afterwards with a timing light. I measured about 4 to 5 degrees advance. It seemed like 1mm. = 1degree. nater006
Good luck! If the stockers are anything like Ricky's, they're soft metal and you shouldn't have any trouble hogging it out with a Dremel or other rotary tool.
