BLACKeR Posted April 30, 2004 Report Share Posted April 30, 2004 guys i have a great way to solve our problems. we can outlaw all heavy polluting, anythign that puts out too much junk...gone! also lets make the minnimum wage 30$ an hour so everyone will have a nice house and car. next well have regulate businesses so that the most anyone can make is 100$ and hour and businesses can make no more than 100,000$ in proffit a year, now we can start up a government program for health care, childcare, and basic services. now no one will be sick, hungry, cold, or wet. itll be perfect. guns will be illegal! and logging will be regulated so the environment will be safe. oh itll be great! one problem that banshee you have has to go too much pollution, so youll have to get a thumper, unfortunatly its going to cost $30,000 because yamaha has to pay everyone so much, and its going to be so slow from all the filters in the exhaust, but on the way home you can stop for a vegie burger thats going to cost $30. well your finally home now, and what you dont have a house? what the..? oh yeah will all insentive for proffit gone, home building is at a standstill, no wants to take the risk when they can do nothing and still get payed. that and your taxes are now so high from all the government subsidies having to be handed out to businesses that you cant really afford a house anyways. the place you worked for recently had a bad year and since there proffit margins were regulated, they were unable to keep going through a negative year. but things keep getting worse it turns out your kid broke his arm, and the line at the hospital is huge because of all the people with cuts and colds getting their free care, you have to wait 8 hours and your sons arm is never the same. thats ok if he cant work the government can take care of him.....that is if theres still an economy at all when he grows up. but wait none of it matters a guiys with a gun just broke into your house and shot your whole family, i guess he never got the message that guns were illegal..... ok i know this whole thing may sound a little dumb, but its all very factual. look at any economic model. utopia sounds great but its never ever succeded. russia cuba ect ect. it even failed when it was tried in early america, turns out all the americans were starving because only 3 people were working. they had to drop it and soon after they were all fat and happy. did it every occure to you that were the most wealthy and successful country because were the most unregulated country in history? I was a victim of liberal thinking up untill the time shortly after my college graduation when I actually had to deal with all the F-ed up BS in reality. Trying to get projects built with my hands tied behind my back and 5 government and public watch dogs standing behind be looking over my shoulder waiting to attackt at the first sign of blood; what a pain in the ass. My wife and I make a pretty darn good combined income on which the State and IRS get together and have one hell of a gangbang every year. Its funny because my step dad used to tease me about being a liberal when I was in college and said "wait untill you pay taxes and get raped bu the IRS and you'll think differently." He was right. It dont take much to hit those higher tax brackets before the IRS gives it to you prizon style = no KY! And then theres the business owners, they got it even worse. My dad sold his business this year because he could no longer perform the physical labor it required after getting a fake hip and ankel due to years of hard work and couldn't afford to pay 3 workers to take his place. He paid between 40 to 50% to the State and IRS of his "Capital Gains" from selling his business to the tune of $500K when it was more like his "Retirement Fund" that took him 40 years to build. Brooke Posted May 1, 2004 Report Share Posted May 1, 2004 i dont know the exact statistic, but the wealtiest 1% pay somethin like 90% of the income taxes. if you make $70,000 a year, its really only about $40,000 after taxes. i think its hilarious that the "poor" complain the most and pay the least. BrokeStonedBiker Posted May 2, 2004 Report Share Posted May 2, 2004 well as far as taxes go. i think its all bull<>shit. public schools suck health care sucks. pretymuch anything public sucks. pay taxes towards it and it will still suck. they built a bif fuckin tunnel in bost and guess what, the traffic still sucks. i thnk its just to populated. to many fuckin people. where does all the taxes go? to all the stupid lazy ass f*ck people that work for the state and "country". they get paid top dollar and theyt always have there thumb up there ass not doing anything. its a mafia, big fuckin conspirace is what it is. just about every one in office is a joker. i got into trouble and had to go to court, went to see my probation officer downstairs. he was eating lunch with the judge, i stood at the door step to be reconized, the fat fuckin judge was eating a monsterous bowl of f*ck pasta. looks at me like a asshole and says. can i help you? i said i was here to see my probabtion officer(with the same aditude). he says he'll be right with you. so i just marveld at him stuffing his fat fuckin face with food, he says can i help you? i said no. then he went off at me and told me to waite out side then. there all fucked. then i got yelled at by my probation officer. he told me "you dont talk to a judge like that" i said ok. i just saw him as he was. a stupid fat ugly overweight dickhead. morrel of the story. taxes suck and all the money is waisted on people with athority. dont get me wrong i respect authority and cops and presidents ect. i respect the roll they play. but it seems they always have the wrong people for the job every time. and that probation officer i had was going to anger managment and didnt have enough patience for me. and everyone in power seems to know how the psychiatry practice works. there all brainwashed by it. but thinks aint gonna change anytime soon. I watched an interview with Al Sharpton and he said "we need the rich to pay more taxes!" John Stossel said, o.k what percent would you like, Al replied, "I dont know much more than they do" So John said" OK so say they should pay 28%" Al Sharpton replied, "Yeah they should pay 28 % , that would be good" John then notified Al that the rich already pay 38%!! of the taxes (thats just the really rich, like brooke said the "rich" pay about 90%). Al then changed the subject. Another thing people forget about is sales tax, property tax, etc. The tax on a 4 million dollar mansion is much more than my $900 a month apartment (none). I'm not rich nor will I most likely ever be with a military carreer but I hate all the whining about the rich people. Suck it up, go get rich yourself, its really not that hard. That's what makes America great, anyone can succeed, its just that we've turned into a bunch of whiners and gimme gimme type society. My Dad grew up in the projects of Boston, lost both parents early, my Mom lost her Dad to the Korean War and grew up with four sisters and her mother (obviously poor). Now, my parents have a summer house on Cape Cod and they go on vacation to Europe or Aruba twice a year. My Dad is an electrician, nothing fancy, he just works redonkulous OT plus he does side work plus my mother does warranty administration. Yet they bring home about 200K a year. So I just hate to hear people bitch about the rich while hey sit on their ass smokin pot gettin high all day when they could be bustin their ass working. Sorry, I just got this attitude from watching my parents go from feeding me and my sister Mac and cheese everynight to hey wanna come over for some Lobster. I think they have earned it!!
