Sanddunejunkie
Brooke........you go man...........Holyman, Damn son grow grow hair and get a pair. I,m sorry but you really need to quit taking every thing Opra has to say to heart. all this bleeding heart liberal sh*t you have been spouting make me sick I really do respect the right of every AMERICAN to voice their opinion but the crap you are spouting come straight from the bias ass liberal media, it is nothing original. I can go along with an disagreement of a particular policy or action but every thing you are really vocal about is a damn "right wing conspiricy theory" evryone is not out to get you or just in it for the big bucks....I will admit the money is a motavater for a lot of poeple.... But just use you head and quit listining to every stinking word of the Michal Morre crowd. If you really think that the entire war was about OIL (gag) you are perhaps the most close minded person I have ever read on this particular board.. This war was about getting a tyrant and terriost OUT OF POWER. As for the space exploraion program ALL ABOUT WATER FOR POWER give me a break you have got to be kidding (I hope) look at all the good things that have come from the space program. Fuel research, medical advancments ect. ect. come on man not every thing that every single Republican has done is EVIL and BAD stop just going along and think for yourself.......just a little please..... Holyman
First of all the only thing I know about Michael Moore is what I saw in Bowling for Columbine and his subsequent speech at the awards show. I admire his drive to call people to answer for what he feels they are doing wrong but I would expect every sane person to do the same. Beyond that I know nothing of the guy. I don't know what right wing conspiracy theory is so I don't know where to fit in on that but I will agree with you that money is a big motivator. In fact I think money, greed, and control are the main motivators. Which brings us to the space program. I never said the space program was all about water for power. However you did mention the fuel and medical fields promoting and funding the space program. The fuel industries are not looking for life in outerspace and I'm not aware of the medical breakthru's made possible by space exploration. Maybe you could help me understand that better. I also never said the republican party was all evil. I had mentioned that bush is an idiot and that kerry is no better. So to me it's 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other. I don't fall within ANY party line.
BLACKeR
holyman while were turning water into fuel all over america why dont we just teach pigs to fly, destroy all evil through flower planting and then eliminate elections and choose leaders through a complex competition involving spelling bees and grammar!? then well have no problems!! it sounds great but its not reasonable. our entire economy isd based on fossil fuels changing it will take an enormous emount of time. untill that happens those crazy musslims are still going to be trying to kill us. i say use the oil resurves we have increase supply lowering price, kill those people who are trying to kill us, and continue on with a succesful and happy american life. yeah i know thats probly selfish sounding to you. but well see what actually happens. the entire world switches to breaking down water, or simple defenence. i dont think war is ever the answer, but here its the solution, the answer is combat terror through common sence stuff over time. but that wasnt dont at all in the last 20 years now we have to do extra stuff. BenBB
It took me two days to read this thread. My head hurts. Holyman don't forget we got velcro outta the space program. For the most part I believe space exploration has good intentions; sooner or later overpopulation will get the better of us and we're gonna hafta get off this rock. Politics may be a necessary evil, but all to often seem to lead to the downfall of a civilization. When "right" and "wrong" can easily be distorted and lost in a sea of red tape, it ceases to matter. I'd rather not waste my time even attempting to make sense of it; perhaps I'm a simpleton but I do think we all have our place in society and must strive to do our best with what we have to work with. Oh yeah, almost forgot, to the original post question: I support President Bush because he is our current commander in cheif. I trust he will do the right thing for our country, and I may or may not be satisifed with the end result, but I understand that I will probably never know 1/1000 of what he has to deal with. Do I think ANY politician should be running the show? HELL NO. Am I better qualified? Not even. You cast your vote and hope for the best... First off Velcro rocks So the space program has been successful at something Second to your statements quoted above... I agree. People as a whole need rulership. I certainly don't promote anarchy. I'm just saying that we need to recognize the limitations of the rulers in place. When you vote, that's pretty much all you can do. Listen to what they are willing to tell you, make a choice, and hope for the best. I'm confident that eventually there will be one government over the world which would seem to go along with what Blacker is saying... not everyone will have a seat when the music stops playing. It's interesting though that some are more willing to sacrifice their families and property and futures and lives for the status quo. Yes the world as we know it is heavily dependant on oil, but there are thousands of institutions that have gone the way of the dodo and I don't see too many people missing 'em. Ducman
Just thought I'd throw in - NASA was responsible for developing the MRI (Magnetic Resonance Immaging) so if you crack your noggin on the shee and need to check the marbles you can thank NASA. The Rebel
Now children, behave. It's raining today. I'm not riding. So I'm sitting here drinking cold beverages reading words from future world leaders. Some are intelligent, some are down right ignorant. I won't call names, hopefully soon enough these will read the right instruction manual and put their faith in the right place. NIV is pretty clearly written. I've been called Conspiracy Theory man by co-workers, I guess they're reffering to the movie with Mel Gibson. Haven't caught that one, heard it was worth watching. Yes, I've got opinions, and yes I've got the tenacity to air em out once in awhile. Does it help? Maybe, maybe not. Just remember kids, this "War on Terrorism" is just like the "War on Drugs" except it has been taken to another level. They are both manufactured right here in the good ole USA. Big ole Corporate America runs this show and our Pres. just happens to be in bed with the whore. If they want you silenced, it can be done easy enough, because this is a nation of cowards( and it looks like a whole bunch of queers are in there too). Clear Channel is the latest and worst of the tools they're using aginst your 1st. Beware. Also beware of the farce that goes under the title of "Homeland Security" too. These are the same fellow Americans that allowed the ragheads in and trained them to fly our nice big Airplanes(weapons of mass destruction?). The 1st is the strongest, but without the 2nd none of the others would be possible. Keep a check on your liberal Dems. on the renewal of the crime bill of 94 that sunsets this year, write your Congressman explaining why our Forefathers had the since to look out for the future of this nation, not to mention our personal protection. Now since we are getting personal; mcaf29, they're definitely using monitoring euipment, but don't think you know what they're monitoring, you're just a paid employee of the Spy in the Sky. No offense meant either brother, that's just what you do. You also might want to learn more about cancer and what causes it before you praise someone for saving us from it. Ducman, been there bud, but not from cracking my head. Brooke, I think Holyman wants to liberalize you baby, in Moore ways than one. That Michael Moore shit was pretty damn funny though. I just wish you weren't so political, I kind of like you. Wow, I hope this doesn't mean I'm an internet stalker. Cotton Eyed Joe, you make a good arguement about checking tyrants, keep it up with the history lessons that's the only way to learn. And history does repeat itself. XTShee, you would be better off just posting your big tittied avatar every now and then and keep your ignorant mouth shut(some of em really do need to be silenced). 4312, dude get off the booze and weed long enough to develop some spelling and typing skills. Do any of you know what a Libertarian is? He is a person that is for personal and individual rights. In my opinion, that is what are Founding Fathers had in mind when the original document was written. If you read and study our Constitution you can see that these men of men were light years ahead of these overstuffed Bastards of today. Damn, this is depressing, didn't want to go here today. I think I'll get in the K5 and go trail riding and listen to some Led Zeppelin and think about how it should of been Have fun!!!
