rebelbanshee2
The 35mm carbs gave me 2hp on top and 5hp on bottom....The stroker just needs to breathe....I was also stuck on 37lbs of torque, but I gained 4lbs going from ported stock cages to V-force w/ prodesign intake......If I were you, that'd be my next step....then the larger carbs will benefit better, then get a stroker....the cost won't hit you all at once...You WILL see some nice gains w/ what you have now...BTW, I'm only pushing 160lbs of compression...93 octane. man you gained that much down low??...man i really gotta get some 34s for my +4 12 port. i know my 28s are killing it...but alas i am poor

Justintoxicated
Banchetta THeres is really that much difference with the intake?!?!I was just going to get the rubber one I thoguht they were the same thing, jsut not as cool looking. Or do you mean that is more the difference between stock ported reeds and V-force reeds?
Banchetta
I honestly think the v-force gave me more of that power than the intake, but it could have been both....I dynoed w/ the 26mm boots and stock carbs, then w/ 34mm boots and larger carbs and only gained 2hp on top...So I think the reeds is what made the difference. I'll be running pyramids this weekend....BTW, they have those upp intakes on ebay right now. Starting bid is a $1, no reserve, they are for 34mm carbs....Just thought I'd let you know....
