KRMit
Should I adjust the reed stops on the VForce cages to high or low with my Trinity CV setup? What will the difference be? I mainly ride in sand pits with a lot of jumping, but occasionally do a little bit of everything else.

Don't know that it will make that much difference, but for shits and giggles, mine are set for low response and seems to work good.
Nightrider
Don't know that it will make that much difference, but for shits and giggles, mine are set for low response and seems to work good. It will on reed life.On the high setting I get about a season (30 hours)on reeds,on the low setting I had a set last only 3 months(12 hours) Those carbon fiber reeds don't last any longer than fiberglass ones IMO.I just wish I waited for V-Force 3. spoin39
Nightrider is right, you will go through reeds like crazy on the low setting, it lets them move too easy and wears out quick. You really don't notice a difference anyway. My last set of V-force cages actually had a disclaimer on setting them on the low, they even admit it wears out much faster! baldwinville
after looking at the web site for the v force reeds the low tension looks like it should be used for wide open gas or no gas uses such as drag racing. and the high tension for any other use, the low tension make more since to be used in drag bikes because it goes open then shut . not being open and shut more than a few time a minute. if i lost you the may be this wil help. if you ride a trail or dunes how many time do you get on the gas and off againthen the need for high tensions to help the life of the reed is there. if it is set to low tension the the reed will open farther and faster for drag reasons. hope this helps
