99LRDblaster
on my blaster i usually start it and then let it idle for about a minute then rev it a bit to keep the rpm's varied. nobody else does it but letting it idle for 5 minutes over time just doesnt seem like it would be good running in the smae rpm for that long. so i vary it between idle and 1/4 throttle for at least 5 minutes. oldturtle
I will start up and vary RPM for a couple minutes then start out riding very easy until it will respond to throttle willingly. When she is telling you she is ready only then do you hammer her. The best warm up is riding with gradually increasing power. Also push in choke as soon as possible. The two things to avoid are (1) wringing out a cold motor while sitting in order to "clean it out" and (2) anything near the main jet until fully warmed up.
