Stuff
Congrats on yer new purchase! When I bouhgt my shee it was all stock....first thing I did was replace the rear tires. Made a big difference! How much money are you willing to cough up? The mods for the Banshee are endless K&N is a good idea, shave your head, lighten the flywheel......... Eventually you gotta throw on some pipes that suit your riding style! Have fun.

Stinco
well, for a guy your size, i would have went with the DS, not because its better, but its a much larger bike in size, and stock for stock is a much better ride. But since you did pick up a shee, the mods are endless, set of pipes should be just fine!!!
bkrummel
pipes and K&N filter to begin with on the motor mods and new shocks for the front and at least a rebuild for the rear.
FadedDreams
I'm a big guy too, about 6'2 275 and like everyone says pipes and filter with a bolt on flange should be your first mods.Suspension would be something to look into as well.I like to jump and haven't had a problem yet with my suspension, but thats what i plan on doing next, getting shocks valved for my weight. jinx44
Don't let anyone think you are too big for a banshee. I race flattrack and at the end of last season, I weighed 338 lbs. I am now down to 280 and still trying to loose. The banshees feel fine to me.
Dune Ratt
Here is what you do if your worried about the shee puttin you around. Go to the junkyard and find a cummins moter out of an old dodge P/U lengthen and strengthin the frame and ther you go you could be 20,000 Lbs and the shee could still haul you around. But on a serious not Pipe and a air fillter upgrade should come first then get the suspension set up for your weight.
