CoopBanshee
I know this is a stupid question but my friend and I both have new stock quads. He has a 400ex and weighs about 160 lbs. and I have a banshee and weigh about 245 lbs. When we race, what do you think the out come will? We both are expierenced riders. cheezehead
You should waste em if anything he'll get the jump but from there is should be no contest.
ledofthezep
As long as you can get traction you'll be alright. You should win, but it may not be by a whole hell of a lot. Like cheeze said, he'll probably get the holeshot on ya but it should be downhill for him from there.
locogato11283
since you weigh 245 i dont think traction will be a problem. where are you racing?? dirt or pavement? if you are on dirt you should have enough traction to get you out of the hole pretty fast. top end wise its no contest. if you are on pavement be careful when you dump the clutch you dont flip it over on yourself. either way you should dust his ass. Stinco
we're not trying to carve canadians are we, how sad would that be. All he's saying is to give your head a shake, you could way 400pounds, the banshee will still come out on top, if you were pulling a tractor trailer behind you, you would still come out on top LOL.. now go and prove that 4 strokes are slow!!! (yes i am kidding!!)
Banshee~
The Banshee will win if the race is long enuff.I race my brother on this 400ex (both stock) he gets a wheelie and I pull up beside him and then pass him.
banshees and beers
Ya know, the reason we have so many threads to search from is because people posted them. If people stop asking qustions then there will be nothing to search. Any way, make sure you bet some beer on that race, you are going to kick his for shizzel. I did that once, i thought I was on sand but it was pavement with a light sand coating, I dumped the clutch in first and did the old flipover and crack my helmet on the concrete thing while the banshee landed back on its wheels and rolled away in first gear. I had to run like 1/10th of a mile to get her. Man that sucked. and my buddies were watching me and looking at me like I was a dumbass or something, I guess I was. PUSH THE THROTTLE
I run 16/40 gearing and the last time I raced against a 400EX he had me for the first 5 feet then it was all BANSHEE . But with my gearing if he's(400EX) pinned in 5th it's only 4th on my Banshee.
