Choke @ Wot

I was recently running 270's before i really started messing with the jetting. When I pulled the choke out it didn't have any effect (choke does work at idle and kills the motor). I now have 300's in and the choke doesn't really have much effect. I have a temp guage on and it doesn't really run overlly hot. I went from 270's to 280's to 290's to 300's. I didn't chop the plugs, but i did run it at wot and looked down at the base of the porclein. I didn't see much color. I don't have any bigger jets ... I guess i better get some bigger ones. whats your thoughts?

It shold die but i think the choke is only good til 1/4 throttle then the hole in the carb gets blocked and it by passes it so no the choke wot affect it..

do a plug chop pinned in 4 or so hold all the gears and make sure it cleaned out and pulls for a while in the gear before you cut the engine and remove the plug.. that is the proper way to check jetting not buy pulling the choke
