DUNEDEMON
Installl a secondary coil pack with some spark pluggs in the silencers for a hot rod type flame thrower.

Im-Loving-It 69
No, I don't think that IM running rich because I have the same carb that I had on there before I split the case and redid the hole shee. what about the timing? Would that have any thing to do with it. right now its 4 degrees advanced.
squish
If it never has done this before take your carbs out and break em down and clean them out. W/carb cleaner.

Im-Loving-It 69
But its not just spraying out a little, when IM running it and i nut the gas i have 3 foot long spray and its not just a mist its like fuel injectors in a car spraying out. and how do i tell if IM running rich, because i done want to run it long because IM done want gas getting down into my crank oil and thinning it out and locking up my bottom end. also it's black
squish
Ok forget about cleaning your carbs then. Disconnect the extra fuel line from your petcock to the venturi on your pipe. Edited April 24, 2004 by squish
ranshee
Dude, it sounds like your bike should not even be running with that kind of condition going on. I dont know what to tell you except rich.
Dune Ratt
Is it comming out of both pipes? Take the pipes of dry them out. Then take the carbs apart and make sure you do not have a stuck float or something. Did you advance the timing or retard it double check. cb67rs1
are they a new set of pipes doing this? i know my pipes after riding awhile after the packing gets old, all that extra fuel/oil has no where to go but to sit in the pipes. after it builds up in there a while your will shoot it out the silencers
