KRMit
Lights, nerfs, more aluminum.
bansheeman95
shave the front fenders, if you like fenders you can get a graphics kit. newer pipes, those are the first FMF`s they made I think. I bet you could get more power out of newer set. but if thats all you got, run em. get rid of the clear hoses, is that green dye in there? at least switch to red dye. go to a 20" tire, i personally just dont like the balloon tire look. clutch insert, water pump cover, maybe a bilet kickstarter if money permits. same on the other side, a stator cover. or you could go for all performance mods. looks pretty good over all though. Hockey390
You dont like the clear radiator lines?? I just added them not to long ago, and I like em. There is no dye in the lines.. Antifreeze is green. I thought about cutting the front fenders but I ride trails that have mud more then dunes, so that is a bad idea.. Just got those pipes for christmas, as for now I work so much that I cant ride enough to make it worth while buying a new set. As for the clutch insert and stator cover, I was thinking of making a clear insert for the stator, but havent gotten around to it. And also have been trying to get ahold of a place that makes clear clutch covers.. So I'm not going billet unless I cant get clear. I think I'm going to get some aluminum rims with new fronts once money permits.. I dont like hte balloon look either, I keep them stored with no air in them hoping they flatten out a little.. But that doesnt seem to work.
Hockey390
What are some worth while engine mods I can do for less then say..... $300 All I have done would be a lightened flywheel and milled head. Can you get get the jugs bored and get new pistons and walk away for anything near that??
KRMit
I was thinking of maybe doing that clear clutch insert myself. I have plenty of plexiglass laying around. Maybe you could get the Trinity CV kit since you ride mostly trails.
Labarraca_Baca
go to a 20" tire, i personally just dont like the balloon tire look. I think he just has too much air in them they look like 22" razrs If you dont ride in a lot of wet stuff try removing your airbox and using pods instead adds alot of throttle response its pretty cheap too New handle bars wouldnt be a bad addition those stock bars like to pretzel up when you wreck pistons alone can add some power and they are well within your price range depending on what dind you get
banshdog
Parking brake block off kit, to get the cluster f off the bars, and TORS removal if you dont already have it.
pimp559
Loose the stickers they look generic. I would go for a grahics kit and seat cover, it will make it look alot newer.

Indubitably
I would paint the a/j-arms all one color. White looks cool thats what I have goin now. cut the front fenders too. As far as the clear clutch cover idea is concerned I thought that they only made them with a lock out. I could be wrong buts that all I have ever seen. Paint the swingarm white also. Your bike is an 87 right here's a pic of my 87 Maybe you can get some ideas from it
Hockey390
Ok, so far all those ideas seem pretty good.. Thanks for them guys. I just bought a new clutch lever assembly so I could hook my parking brake up.. I hate having it keep trying to roll back off my trailer while I get it tied down.. But that attempt failed because it WONT WORK!! Oh well As for fenders, I dont want to cut them, I ride mud too much and would like to keep that out of my face as much as possible.. Graphics wise I've thought of removing my old beat up Banshee decals but havent gotten around to it. Also since shee is so old there will more then likely be discoloration under them so it might leave a spot I have j-arms on their way, my ball joints are going bad but I dont want to do the A-arm conversion because I lack $$$... So they are coming in and they are black.. What do you guys think? Should I paint the A-arms black to match the J's or should I paint them all a different color? TORS removal kit just got here a week ago.. I've been working 12 hour shifts for the last 2 weeks so I dont have time to install them yet.. Swingarm is already painted white. Going to paint the axle black. And yes its an 87. And oh yes, a naked chick would hit the spot... I think I would get rid of a few items to have one of those on it everytime i wanted
Fireman-hott
I've been wanting some clear hoses. Whats the inner diameter on the hoses, and which kind do I need to withstand the heat? Gotta replace my blown clutch so I might as well do that while I have the clutch apart.
Hockey390
Buy a nylon reinforced tube, I'm pretty sure its 1.25" ID Don't quote me on that, I can check when I go home from work in like 20 minutes. 5 feet is enough, but make sure you get nylon reinforced, its teh clear hose with nylon braiding in it. WHere is goes onto the clutch you will have to heat it up to stretch around the piece. Dont use flame or it will discolor.. I used the heat coming off of my space heater. Worked like a charm.
