duketj8
When I pulled my reeds out there was no reed cage. Is this a normal aftermarket reed set up? Does anyone know what type of reeds these might be?

duketj8
OK so I guess it would have a reed cage but it doesnt have the metal part where the reeds are stopped.
vmaxup
They are boyseen reeds . You dont need the stops Only stock ones need them
Ducman
If there is a little mettle plate that the 2 screws go through at the base of the reed, then that takes the place of the reed stop plate that is attached on the stock reed cage. Boysen reeds use them and call it a rev plate.
