PUSH THE THROTTLE
What does it take to do a total frame swap? I figure i'd need a new frame, a-arms, I need a new swingarm anyway and I figure new front shocks. What else do I need? Or should I just get a YFZ 450 and leave the Banshee the way it is? Any input? Thanks.
MotulMonsta
You can pick up a stock 98 frame for less then 800 bucks, all you would need is a set of a-arms and mounting hardware. It's not too expensive and it's cirtainly cheaper then buying a brand new atv. Hell I did that to my 87 and I did a total rebuild with +2 a-arms and custom axis shocks. pimp559
I think I saw a new frame on alba factory parts finder for $738.00 plus shipping.
PUSH THE THROTTLE
Do the frames come finished or do I need to have it powdercoated? I'm sure they wouldn't come in red so i'd probably powdercoat it anyway. The spindles and everything will fit right up to the a-arms then? Also is there any year frame to avoid or have all the a-arm frames been the same?
