lfmer20 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Well guys, being in Alaska, I have been fighting with riding in the snow all winter and spring so far. Well finally, the snow is just about gone for the summer and I'm starting to really test out these new klaw XCR's. Went riding after work yesterday to the same place that I always ride and amazingly where I used to slide out of the curves, my bike hooked up like I was on a thumper!!! My bike shot up dirt hills and gravel hills like a rocket! Hook up pretty good on asphalt also. Raced a stock 450 and smoked him by about 5 bike lengths, but I smoked him off the line also. Now this is only on gravel, dirt, and asphalt along with some slushly areas. I could go on for ever but, the Kenda Klaws are freakin awesome! Great traction compared to stock. Best thing is that they are only around 40 bucks a piece!! Just thought I'd share my experience with them. Later.... Quote
coolhead03 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I think just about any tire is impressive compared to stock. I had the same reaction about my turf tamers and alot of guys i know run 400ex tires. glad you liked your tires keep smokin em boss Quote
