CoopBanshee
I hear al lot of people talking about how fast 4-strokes are (i know the yfz450 is fast) but quads like DS650's, 400EX, raptors, and KFX400 etc. can't touch a shee in an open field. Even on their best days. I think the problem is that you guys are just racing them on tracks or straight-aways that are just too short. Remember your spinning the first three gears. Just bring them to a field or an old street and ROACH them!
Banshee33
Well Said. They all fear the Shee....

LegendSS28
I might be wrong, but I think stock vs stock, banshee will loose to DS650 in an open field
coolhead03
DS650's are piles stock for stock a banshee will win shioty tires and all. Ibeat one with a 91 warrior that burned a 1/2 quart of oil in 3 hrs or so. Thay have the same problem banshees have with the gears being to short. tons of power but the rev limiter wont let it go. im sure it wouldnt take much to make one fly but there too heavy and big.....ohhh yeah the warrior had 1 tooth bigger in the front and no baffles. Banshee Ripper
The DS650 Baja will beat a Banshee stock for stock. My Banshee was always had the DS till the DS hit third gear. My shee topped out at 74 mph and the DS at 76.9 mph on gps.
coolhead03
whats the diff with the baja, what makes it so much faster than the normal p.o.s
Banshee Ripper
I have no idea. Im just saying its was a Baja.
coolhead03
Oh im pretty sure this one wasn't. all i know is it had know top end. Tons of low end torque thow
87blueshee
yeah theres no way you beat a DS650 with a warrior unless the warrior was modded out the ass. hmmmm just look at the motor 350cc v 650cc? And the Rotax motor at that. yeah the DS650 rider must have been really shitty or you had a jet pack on that warrior. DS650 are pretty fast it would be a close race between it and the shee. coolhead03
I have no reason to make shit up dude. my boss bought a DS 650 and it couldnt get the rpms to go it just stopped increasing the rpms and wouldnt go. I've riden the thing it has insane power and no way did i think that my old p.o.s warrior could have had a higher top speed but it did. Only because the rev limiter wouldnt let it go, or somthing. it was a brand new 650 right off the floor
locogato11283
yeah theres no way you beat a DS650 with a warrior unless the warrior was modded out the ass. hmmmm just look at the motor 350cc v 650cc? i gaurantee i could easily spank one on my yfz450. and hes got 200cc's on me even. displacement doesnt always matter. Banshee33
I had no problem beating the DS650 baja. A guy I ride with has 2 of them. It hits the limiter very quick. My shee was hummming away . His ds650 did beat a raptor by a whole quad, But I think it may have been the rider. The DS650 is a heavy machine also. There not bad machines, But not for me. Lets face it Yamaha makes the best Quads ....
Captain420
Two stroke vs four stroke isn't even fair! If ANY stock 4 stroke can beat a stock banshee, the banshee rider should be bitch slapped! Maybe a built up 250R or QuadzillaLT500 would make for a good matchup. But unless really built up, a 4 stroke isn't even in the same category as a 2 stroke!
