MotulMonsta Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Yup I got my new terry cable thumb throttle today and spend about 6 hours modifing it to work right. It's simple in it's design, but it's lacking. I had to take the return spring out, remove the cable adjuster and file down the arm inside the housing to keep it from binding. It also sits in a different location then the stock and I had to move my front brake lever assembly in order to clear the brake's adjuster screw. Also the stop on the throttle does not have a lock nut and will vibrate loose. It has no idle adjuster and the lever itself sits in the wrong position. It is easier to pull though....now Terry cable's banshee throttle cable is another story..I'm going to have to mail that one back seeing as they have the wrong ends on it and it won't work with my Kehin pwk's. I'm not a happy camper right now and I don't think I'll be buying from them again. Quote
ranshee Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 Yea, I bought one of them too, was'nt to happy with it. It was stiff as shit. Talk about a thumb work out. It was not cheap either. Bought a new one from motion pro and it was a world of difference. Quote
