Coolant Bottle

Recommended Posts

You don't need it. It is a catch can, you overheat and the coolant expands and dumps into the bottle, it cools and sucks it back in. You can ditch it but you have to watch the coolant level inside the radiator.

I've been racing my banshee for few years without one. I just check my fluids before I go the track and I dont think I have ever been low on radiator fluid. If you want to keep it send blue duece a pm and check out his coolant bottle. He has mounted his in the front of his bike.

the radiator cant suck up the fluid driectly up if its mounted in the front like that right? its just for and over flow?

does it overflow from the top hose and go into the tank or is that hose just a breather hose? because i cut that one and put a couple loops behide the seat and twist tied it too the frame. yeah i might through it in the "bashee parts" box too.

removing the excess weight will probably add about 4 hp too. lol
