McSkinner
Well we know from the increased airflow of a k&n that even AIR has a hard time getting through a two stage foam filter. Do you really think that any dust particles large enough to cause significant engine wear could wriggle their way through both layers. The very composition of the foam makes it physically impossible for any solid particles to pass through unless it's ripped. There's no direct path going from one side of the foam to the other. Take the dirtiest sponge in your house and rip it open. It'll be clean on the inside. Other than maybe a little color tinged. No dirt granules. P.S. I'm certainly not trying to be a wise-ass or argumentative in any way. I'm just looking for opinions and all are welcome. I'm also tired of cleaning these f#&$ing filters. thanks
