Trick2stroke Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 I can't say anything about the cat cause I have never seen 1 run or know anything about them but I can tell you that between the shee and rap and the ex the ex will loose for sure, I beat 1 stock vs stock on my yz 85, between the raptor and shee stock im thinking the shee will take it, may be close. You put a pipe on them all and its no contest, the shee will take it.... Mx or mxing is motocross, and sx is supercross... As for the shee being good all around, stock in the woods on tight trails I dunno, cause the shee doesn't have great handling but in sand it is the best, in the mud, I have no idea... Wassup350 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 I've ridden a 400 ex and the banshee would smoke it. With a good rider i think it could smoke it on the track too. The DVX 400 is the same thing as the kfx and Z400 only different plastics. The Raptor and Banshee would be close unless the banshee is piped or modded in some other fasion then it would beat the raptor even piped. Ducman Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 The articat uses the suzuki z-400 motor. I'd say the only close match would be between a stock raptor and the banshee. The Raptor will get better traction on a dirt road or any flat dirt surface, but as soon as the basnhee it in about 4th gear and gets traction so the wheels quit spinning it will go smokin past the raptor so it has to be a fairly long race, over 300'. Trick2stroke Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 Top speed can vary from bike to bike though, me and my friend both had bone stock blasters and mine was about 1 or 2 mphs faster on top speed because I would slowly walk away from him...I also weigh about 25lbs or so more then him. bignasty1 Posted April 6, 2004 Report Share Posted April 6, 2004 yeh top speeds dont mean shit me and my buddy both bought our z400s the same day and mine was faster after i had broke it in. i had him by a little bit ever gear except when we switched bikes and he was on mine and i was on his my bike was still faster. so it does vary.
