gtr370 Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I have the vitos 28mm carbs they came with 250 mains the pilots say 65 on them also have a set stamped 60 this sounds way big but ran fine (60 over bore ,pro circuit pipes, advanced timing) now im (80 over, ported ,and have tony doukas reeds ,20cc domes,clampon filters ,1000 ft above sea level ) need idea where to start jetting thanks Quote

gtr370 Posted April 3, 2004 Author Report Posted April 3, 2004 Theyre not power jet carbs bought them two years ago I think they are vm28s round slide,I emailed vitos and they said 65 is about right on the pilot size with clamp on filters I guess the pilots are numbered different on these carbs Quote

I have MP Racing 370LR with a Play/Race port, 16cc domes 180 compression,T-5's TDR reeds, +5 timing at 600 Feet abov sea level I run 65 pilots, clip in the middle and 240 mains in the summer (65-90 degres)250 in the winter( no colder than 30 degrees) Been running this way for a couple years now with no problems.
