Make sure it doesn't say "Improved Mileage" or contain "friction modifiers". These oils have componants that will cause the clutch to slip. fixitrod
Well, I know you've probably already used it and I'm sure it was fine. Just wanted to note that castrol gtx doesn't have the friction modifiers in it. That's what I run also.
boonman
I am thinking that that oil has the modifiers in it. You need to not run oil that contains these things. Bel ray gear saver is an expensive, but good oil for a shee tranny. It's what it was designed for..........
Hockey390
lol...NOW you tell me... Oh well, no problems...yet actually, there were some problems, it has spark one moment...then it wont, I just ordered a TORS removal kit, hopefully that will do the trick, then I'm also going to take alllllllll of the wiring and clean it up, because its a mess. fixitrod
Check the two wires that go to your coil. Mine was rattling around and then fell off. That may be your spark trouble. Also, if you think it's your tors, disconnect the little black box under the tank on the left side. That will eliminate the tors circuit. Hockey390
Explain a little more in depth about checking the wires that go to the coils..? I'm not sure what your talking about. Like are you talking where they go into the caps? Or the other end.. Also I ordered a TORS removal kit, will be here Monday.. So until then I'm not going to just pull the TORS out, I will just wait and do it right. Any other ideas?
