WriteTwisted
K I got's a sparking issue that is caused by the switch inside the black housing the throttle cable runs through above the carbs. Basicly the second I touch the throttle all spark dissapears. I am told that switch is an emergancy throttle cutout, can I just bypass it or will that screw anything up??????? banshdog
Are you talking about the TORS? you lose all spark? so does the bike stall?

Big Blue
unhook the little black box on the front left side of your gas tank and the connectors on the tors. if that doesnt work you need to unhook your ebrake follow the connector down by the radiator and unhook it there. WriteTwisted
T.O.R.S - Throttle override system - yes/no? Should be a switch in the box and one in the throttle correct? When I was diagnosing it I would disconnect the plugs for the TORS just after the carbs and the spark would dye. Does that mean there is a problem in the switch at the throttle? "unhook the little black box on the front left side of your gas tank and the connectors on the tors" Will doing this eliminate the switch at the throttle? banshdog
TORS: throttle over-ride system. basically a safety component. it will sense when the throttleis released, and senses if the parking brake is set. in both cases the TORS will not allow the slides to move in the carbs.
