DIRTBIKEZ Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 Being that this isnt a highend pipe, I'm assuming the mains do not need to be increased more than two sizes if at all. Is this correct? I'm thinking larger pilots and lifted needles will probably be more effective. I have two sets of pipes which I'm going to compare: MF 2:1 and SSTs. (Yes, I am aware they are completely different pipes.) Right now only engine mods are a Noss adapter w/K&N, snorkle removed, 40:1, sealevel and possibly cut the airbox lid 1.5". I think I've gotten a good point to start jetting the SSTs with the help of the PROs, but I'm lost with the MotoFast. Thanks. Quote
Foobie Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 (edited) I have a Dynoport 2-1, no lid, K&N w/outerwear, stock carbs, no porting, stock head, reed spacers, FMF reeds. 300 mains stock pilots: 1.25 turns out needle in stock position. I am running just a hair rich at 50-70 degrees F. Dustin Edited April 16, 2004 by Foobie Quote
