.
I've been riding the Hatfield-McCoy trails for the last 2 years with 2 1/2 gallons strapped to my back in a backpack. I've got a helmetcamera for this year so I broke down and got an IMS tank. I should be good to go for quite a long ride now. And all I have to do is carry premix measured out for 5 gallons now and hit the pumps up at either end of the trailheads. It'll make things sooooo much easier. frocashmoney24
the ims tank rocks for long rides, the only downside is that you have to cut ur plastic, but it beats the hell out of carring a bunch of gas with you

scotts96fast
I have a Clark fuel tank 5.6 gallons.I like the fit alot better than the IMS.Also Clark has the air fins in the tank just like the stock covers.I also carry 2.5 gallons in the six pack rack.I can go 90 miles depending on how I ride. bigwill
I have the IMS tank, mileage is about 60 per tank of semi-hard riding. Riding range is greatly extended with this tank-problem is I am the only 2-stroke that can hang with the 4-stroke in a long trail ride. 421stroker
Can you use a billet gas cap with the clarke tank?
boonman
Not sure. I will check to see if my stocker fits my tank. if it does, that means billet cap for IMS!!!!!!! And lose the caps man. it's annoying... I love my IMS tank. It's the shizzle....
