I've been riding the Hatfield-McCoy trails for the last 2 years with 2 1/2 gallons strapped to my back in a backpack. I've got a helmetcamera for this year so I broke down and got an IMS tank. I should be good to go for quite a long ride now. And all I have to do is carry premix measured out for 5 gallons now and hit the pumps up at either end of the trailheads. It'll make things sooooo much easier.

I have the IMS tank, mileage is about 60 per tank of semi-hard riding. Riding range is greatly extended with this tank-problem is I am the only 2-stroke that can hang with the 4-stroke in a long trail ride.

Can you use a billet gas cap with the clarke tank?

some you can, some you cant. i tried ris and it fit, screamin products fit but it was tight, weird my stock one fit on the ims tank better then the one that came with it. i forget what one it was but it wouldnt even screw on a turn.
