Got Nos?

Recommended Posts

hey guys,

im thinkin about buying some NOS for my Dune '02...i was just wondering whats a good price for a used kit...i dont exactly have $600+ to shell out, more so about $300...just wondering if it's hard to hook it up...i'd kinda like to put the fogger into the intake boots so it'll blow in with the fuel and go through the ports...is this a good idea/easy to do?...

if you guys could just come up with any and all positive (or negative) input that'd be awesome

I'm not sure what you are saying that you want to put no2 on but

cold fusion kits are the way to go. NOS brand is cold fusion components

with NOS stickers. The man to contact is sbcman1234@hotmail.com

he is the cold fusion sales rep. On ebay he goes by catdaddy1234

and his feedback is excellent. The 2cylider kit is about $360.

You would then need to buy a sealed type battery of at least 4ah and

a 4-6psi automotive type fuel pump. Instructions are general and not

application specific. Be prepared to make a trip or 2 to the hardware

store and to fabricate brackets as needed. The nozzles cannot be

properly installed in the boots. Install the nozzles after the carbs, in

reed spacers, that you will drill and tap. Let me know if you have any

questions about wiring the system or rectifying the shees stator output

to charge the battery.

i heard it's possible to put the nozzles in where the boost bottle goes...that way it'd mix straight in with the air/fuel and head into the cylinders from the airflow...$360 sounds about in my ball park...is the battery just to power the fuel pump?...and would i need a whole other stator to power up the battery? or is there a way to wire the battery to the stator?...by the way it looks im not looking to have that big of a bottle strapped onto my bike...im just looking for a little bottle to mount to my sub frame (so it could be viewed by all)...

i was thinking about just buying the wiring and all the components then finding myself a small bottle to finish it off...maybe that would be easier and save a couple bucks...

thanks for your info that helps a lot
