got1banshee
As most of you know I have resently put yfz shocks on me quad, and let me tell ya these things are awsome. I have only riden it in a field behind my house and it rode pretty damn good, I was impressed on how smooth it was on the bumps. Well anyway to my point of posting this. I have been told how to adjust the rebound on the shocks, well while doing this I notices a screw and when I turn it.....it clicks. What does it do and how do and how does it work?? banshdog
I believe that is the adjustment screw which controls te rate at which the gas can travel in and out of the resivior.
got1banshee
How exactly does it work? Does it get smoother the farther in you go or the farther out you go?? Or is that even what it does?
ikikazz
compression is the top rebound it the bottom the farther it is closed less nitrogen goes through which makes it harded to compress the less the easier it is to compress the shock. the spring is what sets your ride height. erbilabuc
compression setting is how fast or slow the spring will compress rebound is how fast or slow the shock will go back to normal position after compressing
