blk02banshee
I layed my dirtbike down one time and flew over my handlebars, breaking off the front brake lever and bending the handlebar with my right nut. I also got thrown down a hill on a failed hillclimb and hit my head on a tree. Glad I had my helmet on. It still felt like hitting concrete though! I know this kid that has a blaster and never wears a helmet. I asked him where his helmet was and these are his exact words..."oh I don't need one..I never crash"

fel0n
Luckily I never really got into any banshee related accidents. I did however fall out of a car on the highway, and nicked by another one while lying there unconsience. 19 stiches in my head, broke both legs, severe roadburn on my right side and my back. Broke 4 fingers, one wrist, and while I was lying in the hospital i threw up and swallowed it, it got into my lungs, and had to be pumped out, plus severe lost of blood almost killed me. theeechozen1
I bailed in 5th about to hit 6th on a huge whoop and didn't have my helmet strapped on. i rag-dolled 100 yards from my bike that rolled once after the rear wheel grabbed me. I fractured my skull in 2 places, dislocated my shoulder, got 8 staples in the back of my head and could not chew any food for a week cause my jaw was so out of wack. Needless to say I have been strapping my helmet on ever since (I was just warming my bike up when I ate shit) and now have a new look on what kind of respect a banshee needs. 3 days in ICU will do that to you, the nurses are bitches in ICU
bansheefreak
well believe it or not i had a head inujury and had a helmet on too... i was riding some trails came up to this one trails and had alot of tree limbs hanging down so i idled slowly thru the limbs but all the sudden a tree limb went thru the helmet right by my eyes and jammed a 2 in stick into my head right by my ear i could not pull it out my brother cam up amd pulled it out so i could get my helmet off.. then we rode back to camp loaded up and 2 and half hr drive home to go to the hospital got 10 stitches..... just a freaking thing i guess... so no matter how fast you going you can get hurt... now if i had not had a helmet it prolly would of just skipped off my head but chances of this happening versus falling on ym head is slim to none .. so i always wear a helmet... BrokeStonedBiker
today i just flipped my farthere timberwolf over. rolled twice. i was going around a turn and there was ice on the ground. so i would have made the turn but as my bike was sideways just about ready to finnish the turn the ice stopped so i endind up jumping off and runnihng ahead of it. i was only goin like 10 mph or so. im not too crazzy with high speeds so i usually can jump off the bike or what ever maybe get some minor road rash. havent had a stich in my life. i dont have MED insurence so i kinda take it easy and pop wheelies little endos, small jumps and things like that. i dont have the balls and stupidity to try something crazzy. but i just got my shee a few weeks ago and just road it REALLY for the first time today. i ran out of smaokes and my store that i am close to is closed for vacation, so i had to travel real far to find a store. i had to take the streets just to get there. im in new hampshire and the nearest store is like miles and miles away. i was passing cars and shit it was great. the speed limmit was like 35 i was doing what felt to be about 70. passing them on the breakdown lane. man if they ever pulled over real fast i would have been shit out of luck. but with a banshee i cant get cought by the cops, they can keep up with me untill i hit the trail but too bad for hem the chase ends there, lol. things are fuckin quick man. Everytime I ever got really hurt the Quad didn't get a scratch on it. And every time I have done major damage to a quad I have come away just fine. XTShee
The last decent wreak I had I was sixth WOT coming down the beach with my GF at the time on the back and a guy on a YZ250 came out of one of the dunes and proceeded to cut right in front of me, I locked it up but caught him on the back wheel, My bike went over frontwards, I took most of the hit on my sholder and broke it in three places, the GF's knee got broken from what I think was the nerf bar, so I got a bit of shit from her parents on that one. My bike was fine apart from a big dent in my ac bumper, I flipped it back up and was able to ride it back to the car, so we could go to the hospital, the backend of the yz on the other hand was pretty bent up. The worst wreak I have had was back in 98, I copped broken ribs, puntched and collapsed lungs, brusied kidneys, internal bleeding and a ruptured spleen which had to be removed. I was pretty fuct after that one, I needed around 8 Blood transfusions and was in hospital for around 2 1/2 months. Scored just over 60 staples in my stomach and chest as a prize. Heres a pic of the ex's knee about a week after it happened, some of you guys would have seen it before.
