Klotzban1
Ok Guys and ladies.......I'm Finally gonna make a reed cage purchase. This seems to be tough cause there are so many out there. I run stocks right now and want the best Flow of air for the Shee. Ive seen the Delta V force and its second coming..... and the G3 reed cage Kit and The Pyrimid and........ my stock cages everytime I work on my bike....LOL. My mods are listed below so you'll know what is on my Shee. My motor has never been ported. Its stock except what you see below for engine external add ons. Q :Who makes the Best Reed Cage Kit? itsaripper
You said that well. The battle rages on in the reed cage arena. Delta IIs seem to be the go to set up, if you have $200+ to spend. I have seen dyno runs that showed them doing good on a stock engine, and better when on a ported engine. If you are a do it yourself guy then port your reeds and use TDR reeds. Cost, some time and $33. I have this set up and it works good for me. I don't know about the pyramids. What you use kind of depends on your money, skill, and the stage of modifacation of your banshee. Th G3 are a throwback to the mossberger reeds that came out years ago. The idea of a long narrow reed pettle is good. I don't know if the seat of the pants dyno would say they are better or not.
banshee tuner
I say port your stockers unless you just like spending money. The v-force is good but you will noy get the gains you expect for $220 unless your motor is ported. If your planning on porting in the near future go for it. Toomey Banshee
V-Force on e-bay. I bought a brand new set last spring on there for 175 bills. Someone in here is selling a set with about 10 hours on them for about 150 bux. Keep looking. V-Force works though.
